Dean did an excellent job on Face the Nation this Sunday. One of the lines that stuck with me was his view of the election as a Referendum on Republican Rule. He successfully tied the failure of the Bush Administration to the entire Republican party rather than Bush alone.
In fact, there's enough disatisfcation amongst the conservative base of the party that maybe, if they were decimated badly enough in the midterms, we could see an independent party movement. I want to see a Conservative Party. Their patron saint would be Reagan, and Sean Hannity would be their figurehead. "You're a GREAT American."
