Gunman's Manifesto

Remember that shooting at a liberal Church before the election?  Well, the gunman's manifesto is now public:
"This was a hate crime," Adkisson wrote in a four-page "manifesto" he had left inside his truck and intended to serve as a suicide letter.

...

This was a symbolic killing," Adkisson wrote. "Who I wanted to kill was every Democrat in the Senate and House, the 100 people in Bernard Goldberg's book. I'd like to kill everyone in the mainstream media. But I knew these people were inaccessible to me.

...

Liberals are a pest like termites. Millions of them. Each little bite contributes to the downfall of this great nation. The only way we can rid ourselves of this evil is kill them in the streets. Kill them where they gather.
He's obviously a fan of the hate-filled right-wing authors.  I wonder if he was an acolyte of Ann Coulter, who famously said:
We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed too. Otherwise they will turn out to be outright traitors.
Looks like you got your wish, Ann.  The whole thing is straight from the mouth of Talk Radio and the Right Wing Attack Machine.  Culture of life, indeed.

The president with, at least to my knowledge, the most assasination attempts is G Ford, a republican, with two. Both assassins were leftist radicals.

The thing about righteous indignation is that you have to be innocent of the act you condem yourself.I'm sure we could both find plenty examples of this retoric. However, i'm not the one claiming the high road.

There's an even dozen for ya.

And sure, the retoric doesn't rise to the level of an actual attempt, but you were the one blaming his actions on others influencing words. However, please cite for me the actual calling for a democrats death by a right wing radio talk show host. I am most interested. I don't doubt for a minute that you heard it somewhere.

As for ann coulter, didn't bill maher say republicans should be killed and hung on wallstreet?

my last post was inaccurate. Bill Mahers statement was about 'rich greedy pigs', which for him is synonymous with 'republican'. In any case, its still radical leftist hate speach.

"Maher ended his show with another stirring solution to the financial crisis: executing two random rich guys to set an example: "If we killed two random, rich greedy pigs; blew them up at halftime at next year’s Super Bowl. Or left them hanging on the big board at the New York Stock Exchange, you know, as a warning, with their balls in their mouths, I think it would really make everyone else sit up and take notice."

Interesting the motivation was the same, to set an example.
